"Bright pink. Very fruity, deep and juicy with enticingly clean, perfumed aromas and flavors of red berries, sour red cherries, orange peel and powdered rocks. Lively and saline on the long, vibrant finish. This is downright delicious and begs for a plate of grilled sausages or any kind of cold cut. Macerated 12 days on the skins, which explains this Premetta’s deeper-than-usual color. Outstanding stuff, and even better than when I tasted it earlier in the year, so I’ve upped my score slightly. The wine is made with a very rare local red native grape variety that tends to give naturally pink wines." |
