"The 2018 Chardonnay Old Vines (Santa Maria Valley) is a blend of old vine fruit from Riverbench and Bien Nacido, both planted in 1973. The 2018 is still in barrel, but it shows terrific depth, with attractive pineapple/tropical overtones that give the wine a slightly exotic feel. This is such a delicious and promising wine." |
