"Smoky peppercorn, piquant peach kernel, nose-wrinkling ginger, boxwood and lemon peel as well as a toasty hint of oak make for a formidably forceful and complex nose. Happily, all of those aggressive notes are accompanied on a firm but subtly oily palate by juicy peach flesh and bright Meyer lemon. The finish activates the salivary glands and leaves the palate tingling and glowing in its evocation of salt, pepper, raw ginger and peach kernel. This ball of energy should prove fascinating to follow." |
