Today, it is the wine's intense, almost jammy fruit that stands out most, while more savory varietal notes emerge, but only with reluctance. Hints of tar and licorice wrap around the fleshy palate. I would give the 2011 another year or so, as it appears to be going through a stubborn phase." |
