"Foreau says they were lucky to have produced a dry wine in 2016 because of frost. Pushing the envelope of dry at 7 grams per liter residual sugar, but balanced by big, thrilling acidity. Expressive and lively, with aromas and flavors of grilled apple and yellow plum, peach, honey and acacia. Notes of smoke flow through to the long, salty finish. There’s a lot of tension here. An absolutely thrilling wine." |
