"This has already been racked a couple of weeks ahead of my visit, but seemed to be on good form and was not hard to handicap. The nose wafts from the glass in a very refined mix of plums, black cherries, dark chocolate, a fine base of soil, vanillin oak and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bdoied, long and nicely transparent, with a good core of fruit, suave tannins and a long, poised and vibrant finish. This is going to be a very good AC." |
