"Caparsa's 2016 Chianti Classico is a wine of real character and personality. Beautifully perfumed and layered, the 2016 possesses tons of nuance as well as character. Black cherry, plum, leather, spice and menthol are some of the many nuances that develop in a deep, flavorful Chianti Classico that is simply compelling. The tannins could use time to soften, but readers are frankly going to have a hard time keeping their hands off this jewel of a wine." |
