"25% whole bunch. Solid deep red purple with a significant weight of fruit on the nose. Dark cherry to the fore with other red fruits competing for a place. There is a huge weight of absolutely gorgeous pure red fruit in the middle and then right at the end the typical mineral crunch comes through. Tannins are present but not dominating. Absolutely in balance, a lovely Corton for the long term." |

"The 2017 Corton Greves Grand Cru contains 25% whole clusters and around 20% new oak. It has a more engaging, complex bouquet than the Corton La Vigne Au Saint, featuring more crushed stone and a subtle sea spray scent infusing the red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with rounded, quite supple tannin. There is plenty of red berry fruit here, and an earthy undercurrent becomes more pronounced toward the linear finish.
