"Ripe aromas of poached pear, hazelnut and citrus zest precede energetic and utterly delicious medium-bodied flavors that possess good richness on the dry, precise and lingering finale. This is a lovely Meursault villages that is really quite finely textured. Worth checking out." |
Staff Notes:
"The 2019 Meursault Les Grands Charrons, also taken from tank, has a well-defined bouquet of citrus fruit infused with touches of yellow flower; hints of apricot blossom emerge with time. The palate is well balanced with a brisk, citrus- and lime-tinged entry. Taut at the moment, but there is palpable energy here, and a persistent, ginger-infused finish. Excellent." 89-91 Neal Martin, Vinous
