"The 2020 Chardonnay Bassi Vineyard comes from vines planted on sandstone in 1999 and farmed organically. Still in barrel, it has touches of flint, roasted almonds and saline on the nose before opening to rich apple fruit. The palate is silky and youthfully tangy, with gregarious savory layers. It will be in barrel for about 18 months before being bottled in February 2022." |
