“A touch of matchstick character lurks in the background of the mostly white orchard fruit aromas that are liberally laced with hints of iodine, oyster shell and quinine. The exceptionally rich, even lush, larger-bodied flavors also brim with sappy dry extract that helps to buffer the firm acid spine shaping the powerful and impressively long finale. This beauty has everything it needs for a long life and I would add that it's going to need at least 5 to 7 years first as it's quite tightly wound today.” |
