"Medium garnet-brick.Evolved, high-quality claret nose: stewed plums, allspice, leather, oolong tea and warm fig. Medium to full body and medium+ acid suggesting a warm but not hot year and perhaps right bank, medium to firm velvety tannins point to a good vintage. Complex and very, very long, layered finish. About as good as it gets." Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Journal, Jan 2009
