Lot #1204. L'Église-Clinet 2002

Description: Consists of 6 Bottles, 0.75L
Region: France, Bordeaux, Pomerol.
Score: 92 NM.
". . . well defined, with touches of smoke and bay leaf. This is aromatically rather “bolshie” at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with a succulent entry, the Merlot dominating at the moment, very pure with red cherries, wild strawberry, creme de cassis and a faint touch of peppermint towards the finish. I think the nose will open with time." Neal Martin, Wine Journal, May 2011
Provenance: The Tower Cellar
Notes: Base neck or better, adhesive residue on capsules, 1 wine stained, 2 lightly damp stained, 1 lightly glue stained, lightly scuffed labels.
