Lot #22. Comte Georges de Vogüé Musigny Cuvée Vieilles Vignes 2007

Description: Consists of 8 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 94-96 NM.
"Tasted at the Domaine. This has a very fresh nose, beautifully defined though bashful at first. Raspberry, redcurrant, peony and a touch of blood orange. The palate has wonderful definition and clarity, although quite linear at this primordial stage, a more symmetrical Musigny compared to the flamboyancy of the 2005. Blueberry and a touch of iodine towards the sappy finish. Like the Bonnes-Mares, it will reward those with patience." Neal Martin, Wine Journal, Mar 2009
Provenance: The Mesa Cellar
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $4,000
