95 NM. "The 2015 Puligny-Montrachet Les Pucelles 1er Cru has a crisp, mineral-driven bouquet with subtle almond and popcorn scents in the background. It is tightly wound but there is energy here. The palate is well balanced with a fine thread of acidity, poised and focused, and though not the most intense Puligny this vintage, there is a sensation of length and amplitude. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. (DIAM closure)" Neal Martin, Vinous.com, Nov 2018 |
