Lions de Suduiraut 2016, 0.375L
from Sauternes, Bordeaux

"A bit of bottle maturation has steered this rich, yet lively Sauternes to a very appealing harmony. Plenty of candied-citrus and some cooked-pineapple character, well balanced by the crisp acidity, making this an ideal wine for blue cheese. Drink or hold. Second wine of Château Suduiraut." 91 James Suckling

Domaine de Fontsainte Gris de Gris Rosé 2022, 0.75L
Grenache Gris / Carignan / Mourvèdre from Corbières, Languedoc Roussillon

“The 2022 Rosé Gris de Gris is pale pink in the glass. Its bouquet showcases sweet melon, rose and confectionary spice aromas. The 2022 is round with a pretty inner sweetness and juicy acidity to balance. Ripe strawberry and citrus nuances linger well into the crisply refreshing finale.” 91 Vinous, Vinous.com, May 2023

"A crystalline salmon color with superb amethyst tints. Expressive and particularly tonic, the wine immediately gives off notes of raspberry, cherry and freshly picked strawberries - followed by exotic aromas such as pineapple and mango. A direct and considerable freshness - the density and richness of the fruit mingle with the superb acid vitality giving a wine with a frisson and a magnificent persistency. Stunningly balanced, this is an extremely appetent wine!" - Importer Notes

Triennes Rosé 2022, 0.75L
Cinsault / Syrah / Grenache / Merlot from Var, Provence

"Jacques Seysses, from Domaine Dujac, and Aubert de Villaines, from iconic Domaine de la Romanée Conti, have teamed up with Michel Macaux, a Parisian, to acquire a 46-hectare Mediterranean estate. The 2022 IGP Mediterranee Rosé, mostly Cinsault alongside Grenache, Syrah and Merlot, exhales a fresh, delicate bouquet with aromas of red berries, lemon, pomegranate, wild strawberry and spices. Juicy, fresh and perfectly balanced, with a delicate, sappy texture, it’s long with mineral acids, iodine notes and a penetrating, mouthwatering finish. This is worth hunting down." 91 Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate, Jun 2023

Domaine Charvin Côtes-du-Rhône Le Poutet 2020, 0.75L
Grenache / Mourvedre / Carignan / Syrah from Côtes du Rhône, Rhône

“Just a gem of a Côtes Du Rhône that shows both the vintage and the producer perfectly, the 2020 Côtes Du Rhône Le Poutet reveals a medium ruby hue as well as a great perfume of sweet ripe strawberry fruits intermixed with sappy flowers, pepper, violets, and hints of garrigue. Possessing a medium-bodied, vibrant, taut mouthfeel, it's perfectly balanced, has the vintage's fresh, elegant style, and a great finish. You should buy a case of this, and it will keep for over a decade. Located in the northwestern part of the appellation, Laurent Charvin pulls from vines in the lieux-dits of Maucoil, l’Arnesque, and Cabrieres. He releases a single Châteauneuf du Pape based on 80% Grenache and the balance Syrah, Mourvedre, Vaccarese, and Counoise, and the wine is not destemmed, and the aging occurs all in concrete tanks, with no contact with wood whatsoever. This is as pure and classic as it gets.”

Éric Texier Côtes-du-Rhône St.-Julien-en-St.-Alban 2020, 0.75L
Syrah from Côtes du Rhône, Rhône

"The 2020 Saint-Julien en Saint-Alban from Éric Texier is a fine bottle of young syrah. The bouquet is deep, precise and beautifully black fruity in personality, wafting from the glass in a mix of cassis, pepper, expresso, grilled venison, a nice touch of black olive, granite soil tones and plenty of upper register smokiness. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, ripe and very well balanced, with a fine core of fruit, lovely soil inflection and grip, fine-grained tannins and a long, complex and seamlessly balanced finish. This is still a puppy and quite primary in personality today, but also quite easy to drink. It is not a crime to be opening bottles today, but more complexity will certainly emerge with just a modicum of patience." 91 John Gilman, View From the Cellar

Grosjean Torrette 2020, 0.75L
Prëmetta from Valle d'Aosta, Valle d'Aosta

"Peppery fresh and perfumed with lavender, crushed wild berries and rose, the 2020 Torrette makes a wild first impression. It’s texturally deep and almost salty in character, with gobs of tart red and black currants under an air of violet inner florals. Residual acids keep the expression lively and mouth watering through the finale as the 2020 finishes with hints of licorice and a dash of sour citrus. (Drink between 2022-2026)" 91 Points, Eric Guido, Vinous

Case Paolin Pietra Fine Asolo Superiore Extra Brut NV NV, 0.75L
Glera from Asolo Prosecco, Veneto

"Smoky yet sweet on the nose, the NV Extra Brut Prosecco Superiore Pietra Fine keeps me coming back with a bouquet of dusty dried flowers, cinnamon spice and baked apples. This takes a turn toward the savory and mineral spectrum on the palate. Brilliant acidity adds tremendous energy throughout. The Pietra Fine finishes long with potent citrus and inner florals while leaving the mouth watering for more. Consider me a fan. (Lot# 4721) (Drink between 2022-2026)" 91, Eric Guido, Vinous.com

Albarino from Rias Baixas, Galicia

"Shows a creamy texture that carries focused flavors of poached apricot and tangerine fruit, lemon-infused pastry cream and accents of dried tarragon and pink peppercorn. A lithe white, well-knit and lightly mouthwatering, with a salty undertow driving the lingering finish. Joey Tensley Fundamental Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Central Coast, California

"The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is fabulous. Super-ripe dark cherry, plum, spice, tobacco, cloves, leather, incense and chocolate are front and center. Succulent and explosive to the core, the Cabernet is outstanding. I seriously doubt there is another Cabernet in the United States that offers this much quality for the money. (Drink between 2023-2026)" 91 Antonio Galloni, Vinous.com
