A step up in volume and palate presence from the juicy, penetrating, stony Les Aussy (rated 89 last year and again this fall), conveying a silky texture to its cherry tart and spice flavors. Spreads out horizontally to coat the mouth on the classically dry, fine-grained finish, which features suave tannins and subtle flavor intensity. This wine starts off with serious punch and finishes with finesse." |
