"The 2017er Kabinett Blue Slate is a bottling for the US market which is made from fruit harvested at 83° Oechsle in Estate holdings and vineyards under management around Maring and Leiwen, and was fermented down to 43 g/l of residual sugar. This offers a rather direct nose made of ripe fruits (including mirabelle, pear and greengage), earthy spices, whipped cream, and smoky elements. The wine is direct and delicately fruity on the palate and leaves one with a nice feel of sweet fruits in the straight and medium-long finish." |
