"Many of the original century-old olive trees are still farmed today and we produce our olive oil with them as well as with more recent plantations. The "Raffaele Baldini Palladini" selection is produced mainly with Dritta variety, an olive cultivar traditional of Loreto Aprutino which gives a very herbal, almond and artichoke flavored oil, quite bitter and spicy. This year, our olives were milled in the new Valentini (same family of the wine) oil mill, also located within the municipality of Loreto Aprutino." |
